Lutra Eco is an independent ecological consultancy based in the Highlands providing protected species surveys, geographical information system services and more. Operating across the UK, it’s work has spanned across everything from barn conversions to nationally significant infrastructure projects, supporting national and local government, conservation charities, and private clients.
David, MSc MCIEEM
David is an ecologist with a lifelong passion for wildlife and conservation. He is a Natural England protected species license holder. He has a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and a MSc in Geographic Information Systems & Remote Sensing. Prior to becoming an ecologist, he worked as a Countryside Ranger for the National Trust and as an field worker managing invasive species in the UK and abroad.
When and where required, Lutra Eco will also work with a network of skilled independent ecological subconsultants across the UK.
